Standard terms of business
§ 1. The rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act.
1.1 Where nothing else is specified in the below text deejayshop follows the rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act.
1.2 The contract is informal and concluded in English. The contract is always available on deejayshop’s website.
§ 2. Technical information
2.1 Information regarding the technical data and specifications, from the producer or from deejayshop’s website are only directional. The buyer has the whole responsibility for the selection of the service and result of the purchase.
§ 3. Prices
3.1 All the prices indicated on the website are inclusive of 25% VAT (value-added tax). The prices do not include credit card charges and/or other fees. Such charges, if any, will always be indicated before finalising the purchase.
3.2 Deejayshop reserves the right to cancel a transaction if contrary to deejayshop’s expectations a wrong price has been indicated on the web shop.
§ 4. Payment
4.1 The payment is to be made cash on dispatch of the product by means of one of the possible payment arrangements offered by deejayshop on the web site.
§ 5. Defects and complaints
5.If the buyer wants to invoke some kind of defect regarding the product, the buyer shall inform deejayshop within 8 days of receipt of the product.
5.2 If the product is defective, the following can be done: The defect can be remedied, a repayment can be supplied, the purchase price can be reduced or the purchase can be cancelled if the defect is significant. Deejayshop will pay the return cost.
5.3 The costumer has a statutory right to revoke the order in case the buyer refuses to take delivery of the product. The original packaging should be returned in good condition so that the product can be resold.
§ 6. Intellectual property rights
6.1 Every delivery of the products takes place with respect for the owners of the intellectual property rights.Deejayshop shall not be liable for the buyer’s infringement of such rights.
§ 7. Limitation of liability
7.1 Deejayshop renounces any responsibility regarding lost data material even if such a loss take place while the product has been handed in for repair or otherwise.
§ 8 Right of redress for defective products
8.1 All products except expendable items are subject to a two-year right of redress. In this way the buyer can make a complaint regarding mistakes or defects that already existed before the sale of the product. After the first six months the burden of proof rests with the buyer, cp. section 83 of the Danish sale of goods act.
8.2 Extra product warranty ( a service offered by the producer) If the buyer wishes to use a guarantee that extends beyond the 2- year right of redress for a defective product, the buyer should contact the producer of the product.
§ 9. Defective products
9.1 Products can only be returned by assignment with an RMA number. Products without an RMA number will make the time longer as it will have to be made manually.
9.2 The product should be sent to deejayshop in safe packaging. Deejayshop reserves the right not to handle RMA in case of insufficient packaging.
9.3 In case the described defect can not be determined you will be contacted by deejayshop’s employees for further information regarding faulty description.
9.4 Deejayshop does not cover damage resulting from physical misuse of the product
§ 10. Right of return
10.1 As the buyer and a private Internet customer you are protected by the prevailing rules contained in the Danish sale of goods act. You have 14 days sales of return. The sales of return starts from the day of receipt of the products.
10.2 If you regret the purchase the product should be returned in the original packaging. You should be aware of the fact that the original packaging represents a value. Therefore, the product cannot be considered returned in the proper condition if the packaging is defective or if the product is damaged. In the worst case damaged and defective packaging may make it impossible for you to regret the purchase/return the product under this stipulation.
10.3 When purchasing software and expendable items the packaging must not be opened, if the sales of return is to be maintained.
10.4 The sales of return can be commenced by rejecting the package on receipt or by returning it to deejayshop.
10.5 It is not allowed to write or stick on any labels or anything else directly on the original packaging. In addition, the product should be returned delivery carriage paid without any costs and expenses for deejayshop.
§ 11. Personal data politic
11.1 The home page and the shopping basket are built up by using a cookie. The cookies can always be deleted again whenever it is required. In Internet Explorer 5.x the cookies can be removed under the menu functions" -> "Internet adjustment" -> "remove cookies".
11.2 Deejayshop collects that following information to be able to deliver the products and verify the buyer.
11.2 E-mail, first name and surname, address, post code, City and phone number.
11.3 Personal information will be transmitted encrypted to the company, but is not kept encrypted on the server.
11.4 Information will be kept for 5 years in accordance with the rules of the financial statements act.
11.5 The information is for deejayshop only. In addition name and address will be submitted deejayshops supplies. As a registred buyer you will always have the possibility to obtain information regarding the registration and object in accordance with the rules of financial statements act.
